Cedar Grove and District Riding Club, located at 30 Irwin Road, Cedar Grove, was founded in 1994
and has grown to over 100 members,  catering for the disciplines of dressage,  show jumping and
hacking.   The  club  hosts  internal  member  and  open  competition  events  and  training clinics,
providing a safe,  relaxed and fun competition and learning environment for riders of all skill levels
from beginners to advanced  level.    We  have a
sports development  philosophy  of  continuous
improvement  and  foster a safe learning environment for riders to development their  riding  and
horse  management  skills.    To complement the rider development opportunities within the club,
we  host two  events each  month of  the club  calendar,  alternating between dressage and show
jumping with training and open competitions in each discipline. We also host two hack shows per
year in summer and winter.

Cedar  Grove  and  District Riding  Club constantly strives to improve facilities and services to club
members.   In 2010 we implemented an ambitious
Facilities Plan which delivered a new kitchen for
the club house,  new  equipment storage shed,  post and rail round yard and biosecurity yards,  a
concreted  wash  bay and various improvements to the existing club facilities.   We also acquired a
new ride on mower,  brush cutter and bunker rake for arena maintenance.   Facility developments
and  capital  equipment  purchases  were  funded  via  financial  support  of  Logan  City  Council,
successful  grant  applications  and  club  fundraising.  Suggestions from members for the Facilities
Plan are welcome.  Please contact the committee with your input.
